I became the Youth Pastor at Owosso First Church of the Nazarene in March of 2014.
As a youth pastor, my desire is for all students to know and believe that God loves them, and in response, experience life transformation as they actively love God, love others, and love life.
I want students who are involved in our student ministry to grow up with an authentic faith; a faith that has been personally owned and not borrowed from another; a faith that is lived out in our world both now and in the future, when students reach life after high school. My wife (Leslie Davies) and I are Co-Pastors to Families with Children and Youth, meaning I also oversee and help facilitate the faith development of kids birth to college-age by partnering the church with the home.
Together, Leslie and I have a daughter, who was born in August of 2017. A month before that, in July of 2017, my wife and I were ordained as Elders in the Church of the Nazarene. In April of 2018, I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with my Masters. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing board games, and watching sci-fi TV shows and movies.
